UNIT
6
6.1: Find the Product of Powers
Students will multiply exponential expressions with the same base. Students will also evaluate simple exponential expressions after multiplying.

$$x^2 \bullet x^5 = x^7$$
$$5 \bullet 5^3 = 625$$
Students will multiply exponential expressions and simplify. Problems will include up to two variables.

$$5x^2y^3 \bullet 2xy^4$$
$$8xz^3 \bullet 6x^4z$$
Students will multiply exponential expressions and simplify. Problems will include up to three variables and be presented in a multiple choice format.

$$4x^5yz^3 \bullet 7xy^9z^3$$
$$x^2y^3z^2 \bullet 3x^8y^2z^4$$
