Rotate $$\triangle ABC\; 90°$$ clockwise about the origin.
• Clockwise means
• For rotation of $$90°$$ clockwise (or $$270°$$ counterclockwise) about the origin, $$(x,\; y) \longrightarrow (y,\; -x)$$.
• Example: $$B(-2,\;4) \longrightarrow B’(4,\;2)$$

Rotate $$\triangle ABC\; 180°$$ about the origin.
• Rotation of $$180°$$ is the same clockwise or counterclockwise.
• For rotation of $$180°$$ about the origin, $$(x,\; y) \longrightarrow (-x,\; -y)$$.
• $$A(-2,\;-5) \longrightarrow A’(2,\;5)$$
